TNR is a printing business with one site located near Birmingham. It has over two decades of successful trading and much of the trade is from repeat customers.
The company is changing strategy of hosting files on tower servers with internal tape drives, to purchasing their first SAN – a Nimble HF array, to store most of the company core data.
The IT department is small and none of the team are specialised in any area. The department needs to provide reliable data protection mechanisms for all the data which includes Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, shared files, and home directories.

ATR Learning is a software development and research institution. It runs many concurrent projects which are at different phases in the lifecycle. Some are newly created, others are ready to be released into production.
